With Jesus we love, learn and pray: to grow in the St. Cuthbert's way.

Welcome to St. Cuthbert's Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St. Cuthbert's.  Our website will give you a small taster of our school as well as providing information for parents, pupils and the wider community.  We hope you enjoy browsing through our site.  For a real understanding of our life here at school we welcome you to visit, we would be delighted to show you our school at work.

Our governing body supports all that we do and are keen to get involved and promote our collective ethos 'With Jesus we love, learn and pray: to grow in the St. Cuthbert's way'.

We believe that working together makes schools stronger enabling the best opportunities for our children.  We are supported by the Liverpool Archdiocese the Parish of St. Cuthbert’s and local schools within the WOWS Consortium.

Our staff and our pupils are ambassadors of our school values ensuring our pupils grow to be the best they can be.

Reception - Junk Modelling and Technology 28 January 2026 (by Paula Powell (PPowell))
11:00 PM

Reception children are learning about technology around us.  Please send small boxes, such as an empty biscuit box, into school for junk modelling.  Children will make models of small technology items such as mobile phones and keyboards.  Larger boxes are not required for this project.  Thank you.

CAFOD sponsored litterpick 28 January 2026 (by Kim Naylor (K.Bolton))
11:00 PM

Hopefully you have received a sponsorship form, informing you off our litter pick mission. On our last walk to church it was noticed by the children how littered and messy the paths were. From this the children decided they wanted to do something about it, they talked about how God created our wonderful world and we have an important job to look after it.

We will complete the litter pick in small groups in the week beginning 2nd February. We therefore ask, all sponsor forms and money collected, be returned to school by Friday 6th February

Once we have a total amount raised, the children will look at and decide what they would like to spend the money on; teaching someone to read, providing water for a family or a vegetable garden.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Reception Team
