Mark making is a great way for your children to express themselves and explore new materials as well as just pen and paper.
Encourage your child to create marks using a range of media from their fingers in paint to sand or dough.
This task can be done inside or outside and is a wonderful opportunity to enhance their fine motor skills and hand eye co- ordination.
Take a look at the examples above and have a go!
There is no right or wrong way just get creative and let your child take the lead.
