We love play dough at nursery and we make it every day!
Sometimes we will use tools with our dough, but we also often add colour, smells (lemon) and loose parts as we explore.
Loose parts can be anything you find around the home like, buttons, pasta, pegs, cotton reels, leaves, sticks. The list is endless. (Supervision needed at all times)
We find providing these resources instead of just plastic cutters leads to a variety of ideas from the children, their imaginations are fantastic!
Why not give it a go!
Above is an inviting set up as an idea, but really just providing open ended resources will engage your child.
